Summer is a great time to re-read and explore some fantastic books in evolution. David Sloan is a great science communicator that has helped me to teach evolution at a broader scale, and by pushing students to apply evolutionary thinking in all aspects of their life. I'm super excited to read Stephen Palumbi's book and Rober Hazen books, and re-read classic books like those published by Jennifer Clack and Hans Thewissen on the evolution of tetrapods. I love books that provide new examples and approaches to help student to make connections of what they learn in class to general and specific applications their one careers.
